Antibacterial activities against Gram-negative bacteria (MIC values: 12.5 ~ 50 μg/ml against E. coli, Sh. flexneri, Sh. sonnei, Salm. typhosa, Salm. paratyphi, Salm. typhimurium, and Salm. enteritidis)
Inactive against Gram-positive bacteria, such as Staph. aureus, Strept. hemolyticus, Dipl. pneumoniae, Coryn. diphtheriae, and Mycob. tuberculosis at MIC value of 800 μg/ml
Decreases in the release of inorganic phosphate (IC50: 60-70 μM)
Inhibits Rho by being a reversible, noncompetitive inhibitor of ATP
